I think a great room wasn't mentioned here: PTE Acoustics. Not only did they have some of the most dynamic speakers, but they were using a MacBook to a Benchmark DAC-HDR via a WyWires USB cable. I heard a handful of HD Tracks played while I was there...it was amazing!
