  1. Thank you! I will review the NAS posts.
  2. Hi, I am totally novice when it comes to computers - here you are dully warned! I am moving to a new apartment and would like to move to a wireless music system. I am considering buying Sonos for that matter. My question: I would like to have a device that will serve as a backup for my music files and as the source from which Sonos could read music. I don't want to rely on any computer. I want to be able to download the music from my PC to that device and that's it. Which device could work for me here? I heard about Drobo. Would it work well? Is there a cheaper solution? If I understand correctly, for Drobo I'll need to buy the Drobo ($399) + several hard memory drives to install in it. Is that the case? I would like, ideally not to spend more than $400 on the entire "device". I want something simple. Any suggestions in clear language will be highly appreciated! Many thanks, David
