Thanks Steve. I'm using planar magnetic headphones that require a lot of power for best performance(2 to 3 watts). The MH cans output is good even with these though, but not quite enough.

Perhaps a bit off topic, and please excuse my ignorance, but can anyone tell me the maximum voltage output of the LIO-8 without mic pres? I'm using the firewire input from a mac mini, routing the signal to a headphone amp from analogue outs one and two. I'm hoping to buy another headphone amp that really requires a 6volt input to sing. Usually this would require a preamp, but could the LIO do it? Cheers!
