I’m new to this forum and I hope this is an appropriate place to put this question.
I use a macbook, Airport Express (AE) and an old Philips amp DFA888. The AE is used as a wireless router in bridge mode so there is no other router in between the macbook and AE. The sound is really good for my standards but when changing songs or forwarding them I hear a really annoying clicking sound.
The strange thing is that I don’t hear this clicking sound using Airfoil, but I find the sound quality using Airfoil much worse and the sound delay is too long.
Recently I noticed that when I use my iPhone 4 to directly connect wireless with my AE the sound delay is even shorter than with iTunes (not to mention Airfoil) and that there is no clicking sound when changing songs or forwarding them.
I have been looking for a solution to this problem for a while now but I can’t find the answer so far.
