  1. I have been living with the Mytek 8X192 ADDA for a little over a year now. i purchased it because I needed mutli channel capability in order to vertically bi-amp my speakers. Once i understood the buss arrangement it was easy to set up. I used Mytek's BD-25 breakout cable to connect with my system. The crossover in PureMusic made fine tuning easy. I like than fact that the Mytek requires no special drivers to operate. The built in volume control also is pretty clean. Initially I called Mytek for some questions about my configurations and found them helpful. I also learned a lot from Rob Robinson at PureMusic. For a newbie to computer audio he was a great help.
  2. I recently purchased a Mytek 8X192 for my computer audio system. It is the first piece of ProAudio equipment I have owned. My previous reference was a Wadia converter. I must say that I have been favoribly impressed with the Mytek. I am only using it as a 2 channel configuration. I do like the neutrality of the Mytek. It clearly reveals more detail that my Wadia. Of course that comparison is not entirely fair as the higher resolution music should be better. I had no knowledge of the Mytek product before purchasing, but I would rate the support from Mytek as excellent, when I initially set up the unit. I took a chance and was very pleased with the result.
  3. Recently purchased the Mytek 8x192 E/W Firewire interface. Have been busy downloading hi-rez tracks for play back using PureMusic software. At this point my previous reference for CD playback has been a Wadia DAC. As I gain experience and listen thru some of my music, I will have additional comments on the Mytek. I did find the ADDA well made and the initial support I received from Alex at Mytek were most helpful in getting me started. more later.
