  1. Lece, How exactly did you solder the caps in? Are they placed in parallel to each other (one end of each cap soldered to the same hole)? I finally got the parts, just need to install them. Did you take any pics? Thanks.
  2. LeCe What caps did yo get again? What brand/value/voltage and how many? I'm assuming they were film caps. Thanks
  3. I did change the stock tube out with a Amperex White label PQ USA made tube a few weeks ago. It really helped out the bottom end by adding more punch and clairity. I also noticed on mine that the RCA jack are very loose and the Audioquest cables I'm using come out very easy if your not carefull. I'll probably oreder the opamps, caps, iso feet, and maybe the RCA PCB jacks. Were there any instructions as to where the caps go? Did you desolder the opamp socket and solder the new DIP header directly to the PCB? Thanks for all the info guys. The helps been great here.
  4. Lece, I'm wanting to mod my MH dac 25.3 also and was wondering what you thought. Is the opamp mod good enough or do you think it's worth it to mod the clock as well? I emailed Parts Connexion and he recommended the opamp, clock, RCA jacks, and dampening material. I was trying to keep my budget down so he didn't recommend any caps, fuses, or diodes. Did you do your mods all at once or at different times to listen for changes? Thanks
