1. Many thanks Cebolla! Yes, I will try BubbleUPnP Server soon. Though I quite enjoy the gapless playback of Openhome.
2. Wow, thanks a million for the detailed info! So, I checked once more and this is what I found: 1. BubbleDS connectes to Softplayer and can login to both Tidal and Qobuz. 2. Linn Kazoo connects to Softplayer and can only see Qobuz, even if I load a Tidal playlist from BubbleDS. 3. MConnectPlayer Lite connects to Upnp AV player, can connect to both Tidal and Qobuz but can not load a complete playlist ala Openhome. 4.Audirvana connects to Upnp AV player.
3. Yes, I am using the OpenHomePlayer that is downloadable from the openhome.org site. I am not sure it provides two renderers though. In the Activity Monitor dashboard of my Mac, I see a service called "OpenHomePlayerAFSCodec". When I launch BubbleDS, it connects to xxx.local:SoftPlayer-OSX, Kazoo connects to xxx.local.
4. Hi folks, I am using Linn Kazoo as a control point to an openhome (server+AV media player-renderer) installed on a Mac. I see the Qobuz tile but not the Tidal one. Have tried configuring Kazoo tiles with Kazoo konfig with no luck. Any suggestions? (Note that I can listen to both Tidal and Qobuz when using BubbleDS as the control point, although openhome crashes quite often.)
5. Is Dirac Live Processor 1.2.0 stereo only? Seems no way to enable multichannel. Using Mojave MacOS.
6. I would like to thank George for his kind offer to send (to the other side of the world) a perfectly working 4->6 adapter.
7. Hi Tarik, all,

I have been listening to the Weiss DAC202 for the last year and I agree that its 2.12Vrms output setting sounds more punchy / dynamic but less natural. Hence, I use the 1.06Vrms setting.

Great review, by the way!
8. As posted previously, I am looking to connect a weiss dac202 (6pin) to a MBP (9pin) without the power connection so I tried a 6pin -> 4pin cable and then used the following 4pin->9pin adapter: http://www.amazon.de/InLine-FireWire-Adapter-Buchse-Stecker/dp/B001JK1YRS/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1307028170&sr=8-9 Unfortunately, this connections does not work. Was anyone successful with a similar connection and if yes which adapter did you use? Thanks.
9. Hi, I am looking for a 9pin to 4pin adapter that will work with a 4pin to 6pin GoldX cable. I want to connect a Weiss dac202 (6pin) to a macbook pro (9pin) isolating the power signal. Any advice where to find one that works because from the writing in this thread it seems that not all adapters work properly? Thanks!
