Same problem here. I can't use iTunes radio without first disabling BitPerfect.

Just purchased BitPerfect and while I was initially very happy, it has started to have occasional issues with my HRT Streamer II+ DAC. These are best described as the sound breaking down rapidly into a spluttering sound and then usually recovering 3 or 4 seconds later. No obvious pattern to what is causing it. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem (on any DAC)? Is anyone using a Streamer II+ without problems? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Thanks - the V-DAC is on my list, but this is only for bedroom casual listening and so I was thinking way cheaper still. Essentially, would a modern super cheap DAC (think $50-$100) make an appreciable improvement on the analogue output of an Airport Express? An example would be something like the Muse Mini-DAC, which includes a Burr-Brown PCM1793 chipset.

I am looking for an inexpensive DAC to use with an Apple Airport Express or Apple TV. As such, absolute sound quality is not essential (but needs to beat the Airport Express's internal DAC of course). Any suggestions? Do I just go for the cheapest latest model on eBay or is it worth looking for an older second hand DAC from some years ago? Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks, John
