I agree. This is one of RPi issues. Another issue is impossibility to use external clock.

I found the Daphile awesome and I wish use it definitly but It lacks Musiland USD01 USB interface driver (it's a interface like Hiface does). Could anybody add Musiland driver into Daphile? I know it's not offically suported in Linux system, but it could exist any alternative driver for it.

Thanks for this thread! And I liked so much your mini computer. What is this metal circle on the computer? Is it for vibration dissipation?
