I have the Melco MCO3 Optical Fiber Optic Box which uses plastic fiber optic cables. I want to use glass. I think Mouser sells Phoenix FO patch cable FOC-LC:PA-LC:PA-OS2:DO1/1 - 1115636. Does anyone know what SFP Modules I need to fit the Melco. I think Finisar makes these. Any help would sure be appreciated.

When you rip a sacd is the metadata from the disc itself or from the internet. Just curious, thx -

In theory yes, but did anyone try it. In theory all Ethernet cables or digital cables for that matter should sound the same. -

Has anyone compared the sound of ripped sacd’s using PlayStation vs Oppo. With PlayStation you had to convert the iso files to dsf -

That is exactly what I'm going to do. My nephew has an old 4G USB Stick hanging around that I will get tomorrow. Best buy does not sell anything this small. I don't think you can buy these anymore. -

Redbeemer, I had the same problem as you. I however had port 2002 engaged and it still would not rip. I am using a 32G thumb drive. Someone said it has to be a 2 or 4G thumb drive to work. I am perplexed and need help please. -
I’m using an off the wall switch with the sbooster regulated power supply with my Bricasti and I’m getting the best digital I’ve ever heard. It’s hard to believe this expendive switch is that much better. My analog Basis debut table plus super arm 9 by basis Asthetix Io and dual power supplies and Midake cartridge still best my digital.

Unfortunately not working again. It’s not even working with only the router. Do you think it’s the router and I need a better one?
-
Gridlock I tried your port selections as you said for the switch and router. It works great thx. I don’t see why it makes a difference on the port locations? Who would have thunk
-
If using the switch as a hub now the router goes right in the dac. It will be noisier might as well leave the switch out completely,

The model is listed on my first post. Thx
