  1. I'm thinking of going with the Wavelength Cosecant V3. The reason? Wavelength is a bit of a pioneer here, and it works really well with the Apple format. I'm older than Methusala and have the tech savvy of a toad. I need this to be as easy as possible.
  2. Darrell thanks so much for the information. I saw the Max sitting there and didn't know if it worked with I-Tunes. I was planning on ripping to AIFF all along. I'm also going to try Carbonite to do back ups since its cheap--59 bucks a year, has unlimited space, and automatically backs up. I like the idea of keeping the Master copy off site.
  3. Hi all. I'm just starting on the road to computer-audiophilia. I've obtained a Mach2Music system but have yet to decide on a DAC. I thought while waiting I'd start to burn my 6000 discs to my hard drives. Well, here's the catch--believe it or not--I've never done this before! And looking at the machine, loaded with Pure Music software, I'm lost. What I need is a guide, hopefully a written one, to take me through the process of creating files. I think I want AIFF or Wave files, whatever that means, yadda, yadda, yadda. Thanks for any direction you might suggest.
