Hello everyone my first post, this thread caught my eye as I have been exploring computer audio, I have been using DCS for years since their Elgar ,I evaluated the Debussy at home,and quite a few other dacs including the Resolution Cantata, Audio Research 8 and the Weiss 202. But the dac that really impressed me, and which I have ordered is the new Weiss Medea, the resolution is just incredible,dynamics tone timbre, just superb,and in terms of digital front ends it is appreciably better than any of the others I heard. I have ordered one with firewire option for my macbook, if you are considering dacs in this price range it must be on your list. Richard.
