Hi,
I have just discovered this site and am now intrigued enough by this whole subject to start investigating.
I've downloaded Audirvana, Fidelia and Pure Music and have dug out an original Focusrite Saffire, and a Musical Fidelity X-ACT to play with.
I am assuming that the Saffire will act as a bridge/link to the DAC in the way that a v-link would and probably do the DAC stuff if I could find 1/2" to rca cables around the place.
Currently auditioning against my CD5 and I'm liking what I hear.
Any suggestions as to what I should start looking at next assuming I decide to go down this route ?
Also, i've started re-ripping my CD's to WAV using XLD but am a bit confused as to where the files are going. Does XLD just change iTunes to point to a different file or does it replace the existing file ?
Anyway, back to the music.
