I have decided to buy a NAS drive to replace my 1 Tb Lacie external hard drive mounted on an apple airport extreme. I think I am going to use a Synology D111 although I am tempted by the cheaper DS110j, any thoughts on this welcome. However my main query is a recommendation for a 1 Tb SATA hard drive. I have read in this month's HiFiChoice a Uk magazine, in an article by Malcolm Steward that in a blind testing he could discern differences between hard drives, although mention any names. Any thoughts on hard drives appreciated.
