First up many thanks to Adrian for his time and troubles to put this all together.
For me it though hasnst worked, the sound is quite harsh. The bass is maybe better but the rest, no.
My usual music pc is an old asus mini-itx motherboard with an AMD chip, 4gb ram, ssd and fanless psu. I loaded the new OS onto my main pc, Intel I5 asus mb 16gb ram. Power wise my main pc blows the mini-itx away and the mini-itx is a few years old now.
I would have expected the main pc to sound better, maybe it not having an ssd has something to do with it.
I'll maybe try loading it onto the minitx but I dont have a spare ssd and theres no room to load 2 windows installation on the ssd so it still wont be a like for like test.
