A+ work in Mavericks very slow! After click the A+ icon, the icon jumps 16 times. In the mountain Lion, the icon just jump 4 times. Adding file to itunes: 3 seconds for a track!

I am using Mac mini 2011. The computer is connected to TV with a HDMI cable. I play A+ with iTunes Integrated mode. I play the music through a iPad. So, the TV is turned off most the time. After Direct Mode is selected, I heard the distortion sound after 20 - 30 min. If I turn on the tv, the distortion sound will be disappeared. I have set the screen saver disabled, computer and display never sleep. Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

Damien: May I request you to add a choice in Preferences. Let us to choose empty the playlist or not. This is very helpful when we use apple's remote app to play songs. Thanks you !

mwheelerk: FLAC files can be playback directly from iTunes after you import the FLAC files into iTunes through Fluke. So, I no need to convert the files once more. I can use apple remote app to playback the songs.

Inside the iTunes music folder, all the files are FLAC, not WAV ! if I convert the flac to ALAC, the art work will come out. I want to play the flac files directly from iTunes.

Thanks all of you! I have tried all the above methods. My question is iTunes's left lower corner displayed : "Artwork Not Modifiable". Inside "Get Info", "Lyrics" and "Artwork" are greyed. I cannot manual import the artwork into iTunes.

I have put the flac files into iTunes with fluke. When I have selected a album, the left corner of iTunes displayed: "Artwork Not Modifiable". How can I put the artwork into each album?
