  1. Thanks, I'll give it a try and report back!! The neighbor is actually my tenant sharing my wireless only and he has permission to do so. My library is password protected. Why his computer shows up and not mine is strange though. I tried to connect to his computer and I could not. It sure would be nice if Decibel could be controlled via remote (iphone)....... but that's another thread.
  2. Just last night I finally got my RAID drive working so that I can store all of my cd's AIFF quality for a backup as well as a server. I have the RAID drive connected to an Imac which is where the airport extreme connects as well. I am using the new mac book air in the listening room via hiface usb/bnc into my dac. The problem I have now is that I cannot get the music from my library (raid drive) to drop into my Decibel player...... I cannot get the music I have downloaded onto this macbook air to drop into the library either. The air can see the library and play tunes just not via decibel. When I go back to the imac desktop a few rooms away, it cannot see the airbook, but it does see my neighbors computer on the shared library... I'm lost. I'm thinking there must be some setting I have missed along the way with the macbook so that it can be seen by the "mothership." 1) Maybe decibel will not play the library due to software constraints? 2) Is it possible that I will need to load the software for the external raid drive onto the macbook air as well? I have not done this but woke up this morning thinking this might work. I am very new to the computer audio but have been enjoying some of the higher resolution files available via the decibel player (it can play flac) up to this point. There have been no glitches up to this point with the macbook, I love it, completely silent (I have never heard the fan come on) and ssd is quick. Thank you very much for your help. Chris
