  1. The best place to ask this question would be at JRMC forum. XBMC is an average player which is good in both movie and audio, but not the best. There are a number of players mentioned in this forum exclusively for Mac. In fact softwares for Mac are more frequently discussed then Windows here. I hate Apple so I haven't and will never try them.
  2. I have been using PowerDVD for some times. Prior to that I never ever think that 1 day i will use this software, because it is just... piece of junk. The only software that can output HDMI from my soundcard is PowerDVD, that is the reason i start using it after I bought the soundcard (I did not know it only works with PowerDVD before that...). From there I discover PowerDVD is not that bad, movie quality is good. One of the limitations is the type of media supported. More formats are supported in PDVD 10. Audio wise, it is not bad, as i mentioned earlier I found it very good compared to many other softwares until I met JRMC. Movie part, JRMC is yet sorry. I did post in JRMC forum but no reply so far lol... I never have problem playing BD with PDVD9 and 10. However i heard many people having problem on that. Just started JRMC 16 with the suggested setting, yet to see what is the difference.
  3. I am new to JRMC. Before that I have tried a number of softwares including Foobar, PowerDVD, AIMP2, KMPlayer etc. The best is PowerDVD until I tried JRMC few days ago. JRMC is so far the best Music Player i have tried. WASAPI mode. UI is not very friendly to me, and it is not able to read the song title from Audio CD like PowerDVD. I did not register the software yet because I have no luck on movie part, the subtitle just not showing up regardless of how i do. Have tried to use XX High End Player but the UI is somewhat difficult to me and no sound output zzz... did not try further.
