Thanks for your thoughts about it. If I got the Squeezebox, I was planning to have the music files and Squeezebox Server on a NAS plugged into the router, and the Squeezebox pulling the music wirelessly from that.

I'm considering getting a Squeezbox Touch or Mac Mini to send music from a NAS to a DAC. I'd be interested in getting thoughts about two questions: 1. Putting aside the added functional flexibility of the Mini, is there any difference in the audio quality between them? 2. If I get a DAC with SPDIF inputs, my understanding is I could connect a Mini to it using either its digital line output or using the USB output and getting something like the Musical Fidelity VLink. Is there any difference in audio quality between them? Dennis
