Miska, Thanks for the info about the internal sampling rate. I will have to compare the 176,4 kHz direct input from my pcm-converted sacds versus analog signal from the Sound card.

Hi, I'm a proud owner of a HK990. It's a perfect match for my Dynaudio speakers, as they request a lot of output current. The highlights for me are the subwoofer crossover and the dac. The room correction is very disappointing, as it actually removes any low bass. This was also reported in a german hifi magazine. The dac accepts sampling rates from 32 to 192 kHz, even 176,4 and 88,2. Testet that with signals from my ESI Juli@ sound card and my old Dat-Recorder. The HK990 is the perfect all-in-one solution for me and I will never let it go :-)))
