  1. Thanks, David. I guess I still will need the DAC because I don't see this device has any RCA output to go out to the amp in analog mode. Thanks, Jorge
  2. I am planning to connect my PC to my hi-fi but not to play music filed to 16 bits. I want to buy 24 bits tracks from the artist websites and download 24 bits audio files to listening them in my Hi-Fi system. So, I don't know if that Logitech you suggest is able to do it. Does it has an internal DAC compatible with 24 bits ?? Thanks, Jorge.
  3. Hi guys, I am a new member so excuse my ignorance. I have a friend who is playing the old music converted to 24 bits audio files. As long as I know this music is gotten from vinyls and converted to 24 bits. Anyway, he has a lot of it that can share with me but I need to setup proper software and devices. What I understand is a need a Media Player (no window media player), and a external DAC. So, the signal will go digital from my PC to the DAC by USB way. After that, will get out of the DAC with normal RCA plugs to the preamp or integrated amp. I think I need to buy an external harddrive to storage those files. According to him, a normal cd will be around 1 Gbite. I don't have McIntosch but a normal PC. Please, I would like to be adviced and guided by you to get this dreammed 24 bit music that sound a lot better than standard 16 bits CDs. What media player I need to download to reproduce these 24 bit files?? What kind of hardware I have to install to get this done ?? Please, explain me in details since I am not a highly technologic guy. Thanks for your time and help. Jorge.
