    Audirvana Plus 2.6

The problem is with Tidal albums, not iTunes.

There is still a problem with some classical CDs I think it occurs when there are multiple compositions with each piece having a few different movements. Then all the first movements will be numbered 1 and they will be sorted first, followed by all the 2nd movements and so on. Please see the screenshot below.

Tidal tracks in album and playlists in random order For no apparent reason, tracks in Tidal albums and playlists are sorted randomly. Shuffle play is not activated. Does anyone have this problem too?
  5. I am a long time user of Audirvana and have just one request... is it possible to make it easier to change the Active Audio device... instead of going to Preferences, it would be good to be able to change that from the main window. Also can we rank the preferred audio device in order of preference.. so it Device 1 is not available it would go to Device 2 and so on... Thanks!
  6. Previously I had ripped all my music to FLAC files using dbPoweramp on a Windows system. About a year ago I moved to a MAC system and I started ripping using Phile Audio. Recently while playing an older file ripped using dbPoweramp, I heard some cracking noises in one of the tracks. Thinking that the file got corrupted, I re-ripped the album using Phile Audio. To my surprise, I heard a difference in sound quality throughout the album. The music ripped through Phile was richer, fuller and sounded better. In contrast, the music ripped by dbPoweramp sounder thinner and harder. The difference is not night and day, but clearly noticeable. When I inspected the files, I was also surprised to see that the same tracks had different sizes. For example, the one by dbPoweramp was 17,250,919 bytes compared to 17,177,961 bytes by Phile Audio. I know FLAC is supposed to be lossless, and I presume both files will uncompressed to the same original. But should there be a difference in sound quality?
  7. In the playlist window, can we have Track No. and also the ability to sort by clicking on the headers please?
