Well, I've now got this to work. I'd installed the new driver on a new iMac but this computer seemed to have a problem with the display; it flickered occasionally and the Apple people couldn't work out what was wrong with it so today I got a replacement and all's well. It's now clear, on using this new one, the old iMac was a sick puppy in other ways. The new driver's sounding absolutely excellent!

Well, it certainly doesn't work with my QBD76 HDSD. The iMac computer no longer sees the DAC, either through the Midi interface, Audirvana+ or Bitperfect. Done all the usual, restarting, unplugging DAC etc. etc. Tried installing it on my Macbook & it just crashes the computer. Not a happy bunny... I'd be interested to learn if anyone else has this working with this DAC.

I've encountered a strange problem with this latest version; running in iTunes integrated mode, for some reason when I select a new album to play although the track info. shows it's playing there's no sound. If I then select the next track it plays fine, then return to the first track that plays fine too. It doesn't always happen though. Very odd.

I've successfully ripped all the BluRay discs I've tried with DVD Audio Extractor, including Patricia Barber's "Modern Cool" at 24/192.
