Not fixed. I put in PCM 384 but still have some stop (2 sec) 1 time per 4 songs. I guess I have to lower the sample rate probably 192 or 96 to have smooth play.

I do cuda with my 4070ti. I will update my drivers to see if it fix the problem.

Any explainations for that: I can listen hdplayer for a good 2 hrs without issues (upsample to dsd 8 channels). After a break, can't use it anymore, ... glitch/stop every 2 sec Memory leak from the software or something like that ? I am the only to have that problem ?

Last night I listening music for a good 2-3 hrs. The first 1h30-2hrs was ok, just one glitch over all the session. After a small break, was not able to listening hqplayer, stop/glitch every 2 sec. It-is a problem with hqplayer with something like memory leak ? I am the only to have that ? I am using 8 channels. (my system is 3 way active speaker with active sub the 4nd voice). On my desktop headphone, I experience the same problem when I put 8 channels. I was thinking was a wifi problem but I do over 800 mbits over wifi 6 and my cpu barely more than 5-10%. I take poly-sinc-gauss-long / poly-sinc-gauss-hires-lp dsdv2 256+fs 44.1k/256 / fir2 /xFi I tried many setup and dsdv2 256+fs work normally ok but that not percist over a long listening session. Any clues ?

Nope, but I can attach a wire from the repeater to my streamer. Not had time to try today.

I will try to put a wire between my wifi repeat and sigma to see where the bottleneck. I prefer to upsample all to SDM (DSD) because hqplayer disable all filter in the dac (If I understand correctly). While PCM have built-in filter that probably can't be disable ?

I will try that. I found a part of the problem. I think it's a wifi speed issue. When I upsample all to DSD, with 8 channels it's quite demanding. I put on PCM and drop the max to 192 and this work fine. With 352, I got music, pause, music, pause ...

Hello, I am using Roon with HQPlayer and I want send the sound on my sigma streamer (exasound). I need help to configure that. HQPlayer : In settings - Output - Backend, I have "network audio adapter" and "network audio adapter ipv6" I have "sigma : exasound Dac" and "sigma : HDA Intel PCH : HDMI 0" I take first options for both (logically it's seem to be the choice). When I hit play , It's start (no sound) and after like 5 - 6 sec, I have that error message "Roon lost control of the audio device" With the same config, when I set HQPlayer on my local exasound, I have no problem. The sigma is in my music room. Any idea ? Eric

Something I don't understand with hqplayer. While DAC have internal filter that can't be disabled, put a filter on the data stream (hqplayer) and after the dac will do his own filter does not harm the sound or create artefact ?

What setting for a old dac (Belcanto DAC3). PCM 24/192 max ?

How I configure Roon for MQA ? I can't see 192kbits source tidal 48/24 , mqa 192 mqa 192 authentification e38 I only see 96khz. Capacity MQA: No or render only give 96khz anyway Activate decoder mqa first level core : ON (if off I have 48khz)

vd cables ... no clue how it's work. I don't see exasound with it. For jriver, I found a setting that permit to have the beginning of the song: Stop/Seek/Stop : Standard/Immediate/Immediate I have a small glitch after 2 sec after then song have began. Not found something better for the moment.

Ty Exa for PLay silence ... I will try and report back. I have downloaded the ASIO bridge to see how it's work.

Any tricks with Exasound to have sound in windows like youtube, facebook ? actually, I set windows sound to j-river (wdm) but it's not very convenient and I lost all the beginning of sound's video or music because of the buffer.
