  1. I just found out about the iD100 today and can't seem to find any documentation in regards to 24 bit/48 files. I know the Wadia's downsample to 16 bit before sending out through the digital outputs. If this model keeps 24/48 files intact, I'll buy one right away. Does anyone know if this can pass 24/48 files out the digital outputs? Thanks! Kevin
  2. Anyone else notice a weird glitch when headphones are connected to a Mac? If I connect my 'phones prior to launching Audirvana, I get no sound once I try to play a tune in Audirvana. If I pull the phones from the jack and re-insert, I get sound.. Could you please look into this, Damien? Thanks- Kevin

  4. Luckily I've got a Time Capsule, so I was able to run Time Machine and restore these two usbmuxd files to their respective folders. Rebooted and now my iPhone appears in iTunes. PHEW! Gotta love Time Machine! Do I understand correctly that these usbmuxd files cause the sound quality in Audirvana to diminish? Thanks- Kevin
  5. So it appears that when I removed all the usbmuxd files on my Mac, my iPhone no longer shows up in iTunes. Does anyone know how I can gain access to this file so I can restore it back into the appropriate folders? Should I simply reinstall iTunes? Riot Nrrrd made reference to this in a recent post. Thanks- Kevin
  6. I deleted both usbmuxd files and then installed Mac OSX 10.6.7 and rebooted my Mac. The files are still gone so I may have solved any sound degradation issues myself. GIve it a whirl! Kev
  7. anyone know what might cause the constant CPU Over message? I turned Integer mode off and Max I/IO Buffer is set to on. Sample Rate conversion is set to Apple Core Audio. I played a 24/96 Apple Lossless file and made it through the first 4 mins of a song with no problems. After that it constantly skipped the rest of the song. Should I quit all of my other open programs? I have 2.5 GB of RAM in my MacBook, so I figure that should be enough! Cheers- Kevin
  8. I installed the most recent version of Audirvana and am not getting any sound from the player. I set it to use my Built In Mac output and Apple Core Audio as the Sample Rate Converter. While trying to play a track, I go into the Audio Midi settings and it says Soundflower is currently the default output at 32/44.1, which I did not set that way. Any ideas? Thanks! Kevin
  9. @wgscott Yeah I did have the plugin installed so I deleted it and itunes started working again. Thx- Kevin
  10. Has anyone else noticed that iTunes basically becomes inoperable once you install Audirvana? I shut down Audirvana and launched iTunes to try to play a song and iTunes basically rapidly skips through the song list and Audirvana then launches to play a song. Really weird and frustrating. Guess I'll be uninstalling Audirvana. Is it supposed to essentially take the place of iTunes?!?!
