  1. Just received an email from Linn Records that they also have it available. At euro 21 though for flac or wma at 96/24. But I'd prefer pizze and if someone would twist my arm...
  2. Have you looked at head-fi.org and their Head Gear section already? As a dedicated site I could imagine they cover your basics? And then you might want to look over at 32ohmaudio.com who are dedicated to portable audio. I've looked at both extensively myself but couldn't decide on a rig yet, so I can't recommend any actual dac myself. Rick
  3. When I posed the question about the difference between 'standard' DSP and this system. I know that one is integrated in the amplifier/receiver and the other is installed on the computer. What I tried to ask was what is different regarding the ultimate outcome. I fail to understand the key differences in approach regarding the sound impact. I mean, what is 'wrong' with the standard approach by the large manufacturers that it is never considered for review by serious mags or sites and why would this approach be more effective. If that makes any sense at all...
  4. What I was wondering after reading this review is how exactly it technically differs from the standard dsp offered by the likes of Denon, Onkyo, Pioneer e.a. They use Audessey or similar or propriatery software. What makes the emerald results differ from those? I fully subscribe to Srajan Ebaen's conclusion that software adjustments will be the future. 6 Moons' Marja & Henk have already been using something similar for several years I believe: TacT RCS 2.0 room control system. What would be interesting is to see how those different approaches differ (or not) in terms of SQ but also usability and easy of implementation. Just my 2 cents.
