Ok, ok - I am a newbie. I have a very modest system: marantz reciever from yesteryear, cambridge cd player, advent speakers. I want to add the SB Touch. In keeping with the modest cost of all componants, including the SB Touch, I am asking for a recommendation of an equally modestly priced DAC. It doesn't have to be any more compelling than any of my other componants, yet I would like it to be at least as musically contribubatory (is this a word?) as the rest, so a yesteryear, solid preformer would suffice. Similarly, when reading the comments about the SB Touch, reference to the improvement of the SQ when using a separate PS was made. Similar request on that too, although the DAC is the recommendation I am seeking. Thanks.
