  1. I recently sent my Offramp 3 to Steve to upgrade to an Offramp 4 with ultraclock and expressed an interest in auditioning his Overdrive Dac Sig. He was nice enough to send us his Overdrive Dac Sig+ as I told him several of us with the Colorado Audio Society (CAS) were interested. The dac was auditioned in several systems, one of them being ggrafs above. We all agreed with his comments above, however in my opinion some things have changed. I received the Offramp 4 while I still had the Dac and it hadn't dawned on me to use it as the USB converter because the Overdrive had its own USB in, however, every dac we used the offramp 3 ahead of was significantly improved. I had some friends over to hear my system one afternoon and after they were gone I thought...hmmm, I have not used the Offramp 4 on the Overdrive dac yet, so I switched it over from a an old Lite Dac68 which it improved significantly to the Overdrive and started listening...and listening...and listening...wow. This already engaging dac became even better. In my opinion the leading edge transients on brass or strings that ggraf refers to were right there. The addition of the Offramp 4 to the Overdrive seemed to remove the ever so slight dark edge...bells twinkled, symbols sizzled, guitar strings had harmonic extension. LDI
