Hi everyone, I am new here and have what may be a question that has already been answered. I have a Mac Pro computer plenty of ram and HD space but is used for work, play, everything. This has optical out and I use this to the Dac etc, would using the Macbook Pro via USB - V-link to Dac make a big difference to the sound quality as the laptop has no programs running and could be used exclusively for music.
