  1. If this configuration does not work out then I can go back to using the S/PDIF out of Xonar and sending it to the receiver. But then I will loose beautiful 6 channel LPCM audio. Every thing else will fine including 24/96 stereo recordings. Thoughts. Cheers. -Amitabh
  2. Hello all, This forum has invigorated my desire to do 6 channel bit-perfect but may be getting a bit disappointed due to driver issues. Currently I am getting all types of formats correctly except the stereo, where the bass is not going to the sub-woofer. Here are the specification of the system: 1. Windows 7 32-bit Media Center HTPC 2. Gigabyte motherboard with ALC850 chip (not used in this configuration) 3. Asus Xonar DS, Driver version 1780 4. Sony STR-DA777ES receiver used as 5.1 analog input from Xonar. One option is go back to s/PDIF from HTPC to receiver with media center and J. River for high definition 6 channel PCM music, if this configuration does not work. Thanks in anticipation. Cheers.
