I just received my Furutech Formula 2 USB cable to replace the stock cable running from my external hard drive to my Mac Mini. A year ago I would not have considered the possibilities that such an upgrade could make a significant difference in sound quality. But this afternoon I've been shocked! My system: B&W CM9s Rotel RB 1582 power amp and 1550 pre amp Mac Mini 2009 with a 64 bit start up tweek + Pure Music (memory load) + 4mb ram M2tech Evo Furutech usb from my Evo to my McCullen Mod IV PS Audio DAC PS Audio Quintet power bar/cleaner Interconnect & speaker cables by Transparent Audio Bottom line, I would have never thought a $70 tweak with the hard drive cable would make a noticeable difference. But it has and its made such a difference that I'm compelled to post this. It turns out that it was the weakest link in the chain of sound.
