I have atv2 and generally streaming movies it's great, streaming audio to dac and b&w mm-1's is a total nightmare drop outs all the time. Not sure if it's my modem or the apple tv???

Think my mini is too old for silver remote! ) This works on my MacBook and is a nice touch

I mostly use my setup without my projector off, I just tap the power button on the back of my mini and she comes back to life. I then just use remote to control music either on iPad or iPhone Gotta turn my projector on to put mini back to sleep tho, a remote operation would be sweet but not sure how to do this.

He is a legend, end of. Apple are cunning and seem to be able to make me part with my hard earned money. Have I ever been let down by one of their products? Not yet I have not heard a hi Rez track, am I missing much?....

I usually use this site on my iPhone or iPad, I have tried to put an avatar on but the option is greyed out. Any ideas?? Do I need to try on a proper computer

Ok so I upgraded some of the power side of my system and was advised that leaving your system on constantly is much better for the sound of the rig. I don't really like the idea of leaving stuff on for electric bills but would consider leaving my amp on if it did help. Is this another audiophile myth? Or does it hold some weight? Hopefully someone can enlighten me Thanks Glenn

I just added a Kimber USB to my system, I did my usual music test and I got a little more on the cymbals and a better kick drum to my ears. It could just be psychoacoustics but I think I only hear that from my wife!

Thanks for that barrows and others,I am not gonna go mad just a specialist hi fi extension block and upgraded power cord for my nova. I will make sure there is a return policy on them just in case I can't hear an improvement!

Just wondering if it might be of benefit for me to upgrade a little on the power side of my system, I hoped maybe some of the knowledgable ca readers could give me the pro's and cons on this subject? Thanks Glenn

I have owned a mac mini 8 years and it has never failed me at being a rock solid music server, I think it still sounds the nuts. But that's just my opinion.

Nice one, I can now wake my MacBook up with the apple tv remote. Very cool. The latest apple tv update has made my box go stupid, any ideas how to revert to the last software??

Thanks for the advice people, if I can have it headless it sounds like a cool option. Shame apple has stopped thinking about hi fi users needs

So if I don't have a monitor connected im screwed? Would have liked to control it with my iPad and not need a screen Guess not such a good idea then
