  1. View Classified Z:Axis MicroPath Infinity usb cable (no Vbus) Selling this excellent unpowered version of the MicroPath Infinity type A to type B usb cable as now surplus to requirements. Cable length is 0.8m. Our MicroPath Infinity USB cable is targeted at the sub £1k category, is slim and supple and can be supplied with or without the external 5Vbus connection for equipment that does not require this. We have however taken great care with the Vbus implementation to minimise impact as far as we possibly could. This USB cable displays an extremely clean and precise presentation due to the conductor selection, treatment and implementation, along with some small adjustments to the connectors selected. Fitting well within the growing number of systems that are now using our Infinity MK2 range of interconnects, the MicroPath Infinity USB cable will deliver beyond expectation at this critical price point. Pricing is £950.00 / 1m. Seller alvin sawdust Date 07/01/22 Price 250.00 USD Category Cables
  2. For years now I have used Sean Jacobs at Custom Hifi Cables here in the uk for all my linear psu needs. He is really easy to deal with and his work is spot on.
  3. Thanks bplexico, I have actually read that thread a couple of times and there is only one mention of someone trying it with a MBP but not with a 9 pin cable.
  4. Hi all Have been shuffling around in the shadows for a while now and this is my first post. I have a 2011 MBP with 120gb ssd and owc ext 500gb ssd HD connected by firewire 800 and powered by a linear psu. As an experiment I tried connecting the MBP to HD using a firewire cable with the power leg removed but the wont handshake. I have read of people doing this successfully so would it be the fault of my HD or MBP? My hunch is to replace the OWC caddy with a Oyen maybe? John
