Hello I am converting flac files to Aiff using Max converter. I have XLD as well and the thing with Max is that has more settings, I guess I am doing what I should but I am not sure, XLD seems to be pretty much automatic. is there any difference in quality for the converted files between the two? In Max: I am using the default setting in the conversion tag is this the way to go? thanks a lot and best regards

Hello to everyone I want to convert Flac music files to Aiff in order to inport them in itunes , I am using max. In the output format window I have to select Aiff(PCM Lineal) and then I have to choose 8,16, 24 or 32 bit. Which one is the best quality and the way to go? is this affecting quality in anyway? I heard CDs are 16 bit but I am not sure if this is the right choice here. Best regards
