  1. For the ultimate test, I use the album EQUINOX. It was recorded in 24/192 and is available in a 24bit 192khz ( AIF or .WAV) version from SoundKeeper Recordings. It was just recognized as ( Feb 2011) Recording of the Month by Stereophile Magazine. For lesser DACs, Soundkeeper offers the recording in 24/96 ( AIF or WAV ); also a 24/96 on DVD-R requiring no special player. A great sounding recording. ( So well recorded and produced it even sounds good in CD format too). A Must Have "(Music + recording + playback electronics + ear + brain) = complex problem" Mark Dodd British loudspeaker designer.
  2. EQUINOX, (Markus Schwartz & Lakou Brooklyn) is the latest release from Soundkeeper Recordings. It is one fantastic album. I've listened to the 16/44 version; Great Sound....actually some of the best digital music I've heard. Stereophile just awarded it their February Album of Month and used the 24bit 192KHz version from Soundkeeper Recordings to evaluate a $10K DAC. They love both. Wish I had that DAC too. I'll settle for a phenomonally well recorded album.
