Just tried 3.5.1 OS X beta and drag'n'drop works ok, but I have something else happening : "DSD5v3" has disappeared and I see it replaced by "ASDM5" in the modulator drop-down list. Are they equivalent?

Interesting, as I almost always used drag'n'drop before that behavior was not apparent in the playlist window; I have renamed the files and it works correctly as you said. Now only drag'n'drop missing.... Thanks!

Same hear on Yosemite: no more drag'n'drop. Plus, when I add a tree to the library and the start playing, the tracks are sorted like "1...10...11...12...2...3...4...": basically as if the track number field is treated as alphanumeric and not as number (if I remember correctly from my old programming days)
  5. FWIW, I have been able to dramatically increase iTunes responsiveness by hiding the status bar (View -> Hide Status Bar). Rubens
  6. Mac mini, 8GB, Lion, A+ 1.3.9.5 As I was really into taking advantage of direct plus integer mode, I bought an HiFace v2 (no drivers needed) to feed my M2Tech Young DAC. I constantly had kernel panics until I decided to restart from scratch, delete the plist file and then activate one preference option at the time trying to isolate which option was really causing the kernel panic: to my great surprise, everything worked fine and I was finally able to enjoy direct plus integer for hours without a single glitch. Next day I powered up my system for another listening session and guess what: kernel panics again.... So this is what I found out, at least in my system: I need to play one song without direct mode enabled and after that I can re-enable the direct and integer options and everything works fine. I can also exit and then restart Audirvana: everything works until the next system restart. It looks like Audirvana needs to "talk" to the HiFace once, before being able to go with direct mode. Or, more appropriately, it looks like Audirvana needs to load some piece of software in "standard" mode (library, driver, core audio component, who knows....) before being able of using direct (and integer) mode. Hope this helps! Thanks Damien for this great sounding software.

well, we have been pampered with almost a new version a week last year, now is awhile we are on 1.74.... I remember there is integer mode support in the work plus few other enhancements: anybody knows what is in the next features list and when is a new version of PM potentially out?
  8. yes, it happened to me once. Folks at HDTracks had to "reset" the download counter and I was then able to repeat the process. Never realized why the error occurred in the first place.....
