  1. Do you have specific reasons to buy the Air? I guess you need a laptop, but why do not consider the MacBook 13"? With the MB 13" you have a CD drive to rip your music cds and I think an optical out (I have the Macbook Pro and it has the optical out, I'm not sure on the Macbook). Maurizio
  2. Well, I think it's quite important... I mean, 44.1k that was 44.1k at the origin probably is better than a 48k that was 44.1 at the origin. I think I'll go for the Airport Express, but I have another question., what's happened if I add a 24/96 DAC to my setup? Does it useful or I waste money because of the limit of the AE is only 44.1k? Thanks
  3. Hi guys, I'm evaluating the possibility to buy the Apple TV instead of the Airport Express, but I would like to know if the Apple TV can maintain the 44.1k instead of upsampling to 48k. I'm new of this world, but if I understood correctly, to have a bit perfect audio chain we should have no downsampling/upsampling till the audio arrives to the DAC... so we have the best sound possible without any "external" modification. Than the DAC will upsampling the bit perfect sound to something better, like 24/96 or more. Is it correct or not? That's why my request. Thanks Maurizio
