Has anyone used the UPnP server on a Lacie NAS? I import my music in ALAC and the Lacie shows cover art no problem on a Linn DS using Kinsky software. My friend asked for a NAS recommendation and I told him Lacie because I've used several and they've all worked great. So he goes and gets one but when he copies over several of his AIFF imports there's no cover art?!? Has anyone else run into this problem with a Lacie NAS?

Does anyone know if Rogueamoeba's Airfoil and Airfoil Speakers support 24 bit files? Thanks!

We just brought one in for an event we were having as a loaner to drive D'Agostino Momentum Mono's and Wilson Sasha's. Many commented that this was the best they had ever heard Sasha's sound and days later we decided to become a dCS dealer. SInce then we've been enjoying it immensely. Whoever said that the sound it produces is "digital" I would have to respectfully disagree with. The sound we achieved was anything but. The best way to describe the Debussy is that it just sounds correct. I'm not much of a "reviewer" so I'll leave that up to the pro's but I can say that everyone in my store, both employees and customers, have been very impressed. I can't wait till we get the U-Clock! Does anyone know if playing Amarra or Pure Music through Airfoil will affect sound quality? Will you be able to send 24bit files if you stream to a Mac Mini using Airfoil speakers?

Hi, I have an off topic but important question. Does using Net Send affect sound quality? I have a headless mac mini in my hifi rack and a huge iTunes library on an iMac in my office. It's too much of a pain to manage dual libraries and Pure Music doesn't work on a shared library so I thought of using Net Send. Is Net Send my best option or can someone offer a better alternative? Another question: I'm outputting the Mac Mini to a Naim DAC using an Audioquest glass toslink cable which was great for the previous Airport Express. Should I just use the optical output since the cable is awesome or does going to USB/Firewire via Hiface or Weiss make more sense? Thanks in advance!
