Hi, this is my first post here and I have been reading a lot information on this site and it's very helpful. I am using Benchmark USP DAC with laptop running window 7, foobar, and ASIO4ALL. I have download some 24/96 files recently and and expected them to be better than wav files I have ripped from my CDs. But the sound is so much lower, I have to turn up the volume at 11 o'clock compare to 8 o'clock with wav files. I don't know why hi res files sound like this. Please help. Thanks.
