I am a newbie who is setting up headless Mac Mini w/ Ipad as remote.These will be in my listening room w/ nice 2 channel only system. I have Cat-6 Gigabit wired outlet from office to the stereo. I want to set up this weekend and audition Dacs next weekend. I have a 6,000 CD collection. Last year I built an 8 GB WHS server to store music ripped from dbpoweramp as flac and aiffs. My orig plan was to use the WHS to share the music files. My dilemma is this: Which of the following would be best ,smoothest solution to serve the Mac Mini from the following options? 1) I don't know if itunes will see library on a Windows Home Server (located in my office) 2) I also have a Intel Mac Pro that has plenty of drive room that could be utiized as aiff storage-(located in my office, use for Photoshop-but not regularly.) 3) I also purchased a Firewire 800 4TB Raid 0 external drive which would hook directly to the mini in the listening area . Very confused - Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Setting up headless Mac Mini w/ Ipad as remote in listening area, Want to use WHS server to hold dbpoweramp Aiff rips and have Itunes point to share on WHS. Is this possible? Any responses would be gratefully appreciated.

My dilemma is this: Which would be best solution of the following options? 1) I hear mixed reviews on itunes working w/ a windows server. 2) I also have a intel Mac Pro but use it some for heavy Photoshop on occasion (but not regularly.) 3) I could also purchase a 4 tb external drive which would hook directly in the listening area - not really preferred Which is best route to serve the AIFFs Very confused - Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
