  1. Hello, Thanks for your time. I answered the post before yours and left info there on my bit rate selection and issues. Please read and any insight would be helpful. Thank you.
  2. Hello Chris, Thanks Chris for taking the time to help. I am using whatever music application is standard in Windows 7. Windows Media Player, I believe. I have made sure that the application is running in 16 bit but it will only do so at a very low rate. When I bump it up to anything about 32K it begins "skipping" again.
  3. Hello everyone. New here but have heard a lot of great things about the site and look forward to learning from those that know far more than I. I looked through the software area and could not find the answer I was looking for so please forgive me if this has already been covered. I recently purchased a Peachtree Audio Nova, love it. I mainly use it for analog or with a CD transport for the built in DAC. Lately I have been hooking up my computer for the convenience of it all, however, when I do that and try to play audio through my USB into the Nova I get "skips" or "gaps" for lack of a better term. It will play for a minute or so and then goes quiet with a faint clicking sound in the background which last for 3 or 4 seconds, then the music comes back. In the begining my computer had Vista. I contacted Peachtree Audio support and they told me that is was probably an issue with Vista and I should upgrade to Windows 7, so I did. Guess what... same thing. I called back Peachtree Audio and they had no more information for me except that I might search the internet for any upgrades to the drivers for Windows 7. So, my questions are... Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have an idea of what is going on and how to remedy the situation? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Art
