  1. Most amps even integrated ones will likely not have BT function. You didn't mention how you are currently getting BT to your headphones however you will probably require a computer to use BT with the playback software of your choice. Is that helpful?
  2. I can’t imagine a situation where you can “ feel “ the “ current “ that wouldn’t be dangerous with household current. I suggest you disconnect your system from power and consult an electrician.
  3. If you have not already done this try plugging all your devices into the same power strip or extension.
  4. You could try Vox. Its quite flexible and I think it might do what you want although I haven't used it for a while.
  5. Certainly if they are in your Roon library. I have lots.
  6. I do. The Roon app is quite sophisticated and allows you to play anything that is in your Roon library which could include anything online or anything you have ripped and stored or purchased. I would suggest you download Roon and the app for a free trial. Then you could play around with it and see if you like it well enough yo buy it. It has a learning curve as expected but I found it fun and not hard to use and the sound is exceptional.
  7. I've not done that but you can certainly try doing that. Both are somewhat expensive but I think they're both with it. I'm not sure you would need both. I'm still trying to compare them in terms of sound quality, ease of use etc. Still not sure.
  8. Both have iOS apps if that's what you mean. I use both on my iMac meaning I have the core software of both of those on my iMac and run them from there. I have found their sound to be superior to other software players and they allow for internet radio and playing of local files stored on my computer.Hope that answered your question.
  9. XLD with most common formats should be fine. Any lossless format should be of equal quality. I agree its difficult to compare ripped to streaming sound as mentioned. While you're experimenting you might want to check out Roon and Audirvana Studio. Both will allow a free trial period.
  10. You mean the current version? Mine is 3.5.50
  11. Our son recently went through the process of researching home security systems. He ended up buying a DIY system from suretyhome.com He bought the Qolsys equipment from one of their suppliers. He had gotten the SimpliSafe system but thought the quality of the units wasn't up yo what he wanted. He thinks the Qolsys system is better. Homework usually pays off.
  12. I wouldn’t think there would be audible differences if it well made.
  13. Amazon has many. I assume you're looking for a USB A type.
  14. I agree. I've been listening for a while. Quite nice.
