same problem with CAPSv2. disabled "Limit local account use of blank passwords to consol logon only." It asks for user name and password. when I enter the user name on the CAPS with empty pass, I get the green remote desktop screen but it says wrong user name or password.

MSB DAC IV works with no problem when connected via onboard USB port; but when I connect it via SoTM USB it stops working after a while, sOTM USB port sounds unbeliveably better than onboard USB port though. I get an error message saying "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)". I've tried different USB cables, uninstalled all the other drivers and programs, but nothing works. What should I do to use sOtm USB port on my CAPS v2.0 stable with my new DAC?

When I hear a system at this level I usually think that musicians play unskillfully and vocals sing as if she doesn't concentrate and care what she is doing.. as if emotional effect of sound has been killed. What do you think?

some sites sell the same recording in either formats. I just hesitate to choose a DSD DAC or 24-192 DAC?

Have you ever listen the same recording DSD and hi-rez? Is there night and day difference betweeen DSD and 24bit / 96-192kHz files? Should someone prefer a DSD capable DAC for superior (?) SQ, instead of getting a 24/192 DAC?

I don't want to be exposed to electromagnetic radiation for my own health, and I decided not to use any computer in my hands via wi-fi. On the other hand,some audiophiles think all wireless waves has negative impact on their sensitive audio equipments and SQ. What do you advice as a practical way to use wired connection for CAPS?

Dear fredg_31, Speaking logically, you should set input 24; and it should lock 16 or 24 bit depends on the file you're playing. I wish output tab choices would be oversampling on or off; so when it's off: it will play 16 or 24 automatically; when it's on: it will oversample 16 bit to 24 and don't change the native 24 bit.
