1. I love them, they have beat everything I put against them. http://www.laboratorium-yter.com/ Used in top Sonus Faber speakers like: Stradivari Homage, Amati anniversario, Guarneri memento Best regards!
2. I got PS Power AC cables all over. Systems & Magic BlackNoise Eight mains distributors x 2. Instead of connecting filters to my hifi, I have put filters on all my SMPS based stuff: TV, NAS/Router each a PS Audio Duet. SMPS in my stereo (the Pro stuff) have their own BlackNoise distributor and MiniBlack filter. Best regards!
3. Music over technique... But I do prefer high resolution files, although I will never delete any of my music. Best regards
4. I have just bought a digital recorder, the Korg MR2000S. Primarely used to record vinyl records and concerts from digital tv. But I am concidering using it to record digital out from a M2Tech hiFace Evo connected to a netbook with a usb cable. At the moment I am using a Wireworld usb cable, but the idea is to swift this one to different types and make a recording from each different usb cable. Make a note of witch is witch, and then let a friend burn a cd with those, but he will call them something different so that I can't recognize them. But I do find the Wireworld better than stock usb cable, but then again, I could be fooled by my brain...
5. Hello blueixus! In short, I think the Korg MR2000S is one of my best investments! It is a Pro tool, but the quality of build, is like really fine hifi. Not like my Apogee or Antelope, those are more rough. It is easy and logic to use. Togehter with AudioGate it is simply amazing what a non-pro can do. I have only shortly listened to the Korg, becouse I just got it. But you know, as an audiophile, I'm a little bit afraid that this cheap pro equipment will beat up my expensive gear! Seriously just a little bit. But the Korg has a huge advantage in playing DSD128, and that is an advantage ofcourse. But is the analouge output good enough? In the short listen I had, I think so. Thank you!
6. Thank you xsajohn! Discogs was THE way to go Tx
7. Hello! I am in the process of ripping my LPs to 1bit/5,6 DSD and then Flac copies to NAS server, and run those through Foobar2000. Good so far. But is there a easy way to get TAG info for the musik file? Thank you!
8. My can and amp -> But I do need a cheap headphones for monitoring when backup vinyl...
9. I do not know if that is possible via the La Scala, but try asking dCS - they know stuff and seems really friendly! Well I have to comment on "5GB worth of CDs" if your lucky thats something like 15 CD's lossless - thats heavy! IF its possible for you to playback DSD, you'll find out that 5GB gives you max 3 albums But lets know what you find out! Mvh.
10. Bernardl, if you pay with Paypal it is no problem HDtracks that is. Tx
11. Try another or new powersupply - those crappy switchmode supplies can get very noisy! Thank you!
12. Audio Aero players have the best pre-amp section of a cd/dac that I know of. And it does have plenty of digital and analog inputs. My recommedation. Edit: yes it drives Pass wonderfully, the danish importer of Pass uses Audio Aero for those. The preamp is seperate and NOT in the digital domain. http://www.audioaero.com/ Thank you!
13. And for other dCS users: according to dCS they are working on an upgrade of the whole line to 24/192...

Thank you!
14. Not good! I tried my Apogee Big Ben, Antelope and dCS and I thought I did something wrong. But as Esoteric isn't working on it either... I must admit that I am very disappointed, and I fell somewhat mislead. One of the reasons I bought it, was that it could handle a external wordclock signal. It can, but not a known one it seems. It is somekind of misleading. One of the other reasons i bought it, is that it sounds good, and that it does! (But would it sound even better with clocking???;-) Thank you!
15. Anyone tried to connect a external wordclock? Thank you!
