  1. Does this mean that since I purchased my SE version from SGC I shall receive a refund?
  2. Sir, I sincerely apologise for my post, I was not intending it to become a source of ridicule. I was merely seeking an answer to my question, alas that appears to be eluding me. If the moderator of this thread would remove my post I would appreciate it. thank you.
  3. I just ordered four new cards, one each for my Signature Rendu SE, OpticalRendu, UltraRendu, and MicroRendu. I read in post #720 that a special promotion would be provided to owners of a Signature Rendu SE, however, I did not see any "special promotion" when ordering. Am I missing something?
  4. I'm having to reboot my ER every few hours with my endpoint (Logitech Transporter/ROON in squeezebox mode). However, if I connect the endpoint to the "A" side of the ER the dropouts don"t occur and everything works normally.
  5. My configuration is simple: Modem, Synology NAS, Roon Server (sonic transport); connected to "A" side of ER. Streamer/DAC (Logitech Transporter) connected to "B" side. Everything was working well for first 24 hours, after that I started getting dropouts. The dropouts became more frequent. I removed the ethernet cable from the "B" side and inserted it into the last remaining port on the "A" side, the dropouts disappeared. I repeated switching the cable connection two additional times, same result, "B" side dropouts, "A" side no dropouts. After approximately 28 hours of use it appeared that the "B" had quit working completely, I then tried a drastic maneuver , I unplugged the ER and powered it up again after a few seconds. It now works on the "B" side. Any ideas why this occurred?
  6. For those of us that purchased an opticalRendu way, way back, somewhere in the dark ages, will we be given the option to purchase an opticalModule without shipping charges?
  7. I noticed the following on Sonore's opticalRendu page: NOTE: The Uptone Audio UltraCap LPS-1 and LPS-1.2 power supplies are not recommended for use with the opticalRendu Presumably this is because the current draw of the opticalRendu exceeds that of the LPS. So, for those of us that have multiple LPS's, is it possible to run two LPS in parallel to get the required current? Or, do we wait for UpTone to release an LPS 1.3 with higher current capability? Or, do we simply use another supply altogether?
  8. Help! I have just received a ZUMA from Small Green Computer, loaded JRiver and attempted to load the driver for my dcs DAC. I get an error message stating that the current operating system (Windows 8) is not supported. Supported operating systems are: Windows XP (32/64 bit), Windows Server (32/64 bit), Vista (32/64 bit), and Windows 7 (32/64) bit. I contacted dcs and received the following reply: "Sorry to hear that you are having problems – ...... We do not have a Windows 8 PC at dCS as yet, but we will look into this soon. Myself and our Technical Director have looked at W8 briefly and decided Microsoft have made a huge mistake. I gather we are not the only ones. In common with many other manufacturers, our products use the Thesycon/XMOS interface and driver, so any driver update will have to come from them. One customer mentioned that the PC’s USB interface could be set to W7 compatibility mode - this was said to solve the problem. Unfortunately, I do not have the details. Chris Connaker may be able to advise you – I am sure he is up to speed with W8 by now." Does anybody have any advice?
