  1. Damien, please do DIRECT first! thks martin
  2. Apparently Tea FTT is no more available today.
  3. Damien, it may interest you to know that issue #4, just published, of Net Audio, the japanese magazine dedicated to computer music, is allocating more than 1/2 page to Audirvana Plus. Not reading japanese I cannot tell what it says but it should boost your visibility in Japan.

... with BP but sometimes difficult to start. Anyway integration with iTunes really a great feature. Is there somewhere a guide to get the best out of BP? The set-up in mac os10.7.... Thanks anyway Tim.
  5. Damien, when do you think iTunes integration will be available? My trial period will soon expire... Sq is excellent. Great job! martin
  6. Is it possible to control everything (music) on a mac mini from a iPad? I am extremely disappointed by the way Remote works on a iPod touch to control my 2007 macbook (it is becoming very slow with Lion by the way): the music stops and takes ages to reappear. I need a firewire output to my dac so my new computer will either be a mini or a pro. I use a 11 macbook air from 2010 and it sounds great with music but I can only use it with a dacmagic dec.
  7. Hi K-man, I got an answer from Daniel last night. he has no plan for thunderbolt development. Yet? regarding Sonnet allegro he said he would check.
  8. The beauty of computer audio, on top of incomparable convenience and easy access to all your music, is that it allowed for affordable upgrades and tweaks which is huge relief compared to what we are used to spend in the audiophile world. Now we maybe at a junction where the Aurender/Aurality type of servers will provide superior SQ. The audiophile engineers are at work. We will have to pay more but if it sounds better...
  9. I am curious to see the price. Apparently it is not yet available. I will check with Daniel if dac 202 will recognize everything fine through this adapter vs fw direct.
  10. I knew about the big screen and read a bit about the MAN but I am not ready to spend too much and if that adaptor from thunderbolt to firewire came to fruition soon that would be ideal. Thanks anyway for the suggestions.
  11. Hi K-man thks for your answer: obviously I was prepared to the idea of purchasing a mbp (my white macbook is a bit old) but each time i put the mba in my system it sounds so effortless and easy that I wish i could use the mba with my fw dac. The rumor about mbp adopting the low profile is interesting: where did you hear that? good evening, martin
  12. Any idea if it will be soon possible to go from thunderbolt to a firewire dac such as Weiss Dac 202? Because the macbook air is such a nice machine and sounds pretty good on usb with a modest dacmagic.
  13. When I opened Lion on my white 2007 macbook I could not find my Weiss dac 202 until I saw there was an upgrade coming from Weiss and now it works but no opportunity yet to check if sound quality in any way improved.
  14. It is a nice piece of gear. I am interested in reading from people having listened to it. thks
  15. What are the other websites offering hi-rez downloads?
