  1. Oops, Sorry Chris!! I was just excited to see some of my favorite labels available for download in hi res! Maybe they'll have even more stuff loaded tomorrow... regardless, they definitely have a great selection there right now. I'll be eagerly checking my inbox! Greg
  2. HDTracks.com has finally released their first 24bit/96kHz tracks. There's a pretty good selection of music available now. I've downloaded Reference Recording's Exotic Dances and it sounds great. Happy browsing! http://www.hdtracks.com/index.php?file=9624albums Greg
  3. Exotic Dances is available now from HDTracks.com in 24/96 flac. I'm downloading now and eager to hear it. I can't wait for more of the Reference Recordings to be release!<br /> <br /> (it isn't listed under the Audiophile 96khz/24bit menu item, but if you search for Exotic Dances it will show up. Be sure you pick the right one... it will be $16 instead of $12)<br /> <br /> Greg
  4. I wanted to see if anyone else is using the Last.fm music sharing site. I've used it for a while and found it fun and a great way to share and learn about some new music. It integrates with iTunes, and there is a plugin for foobar as well. I think other music apps have similar plugins but these are the only two I use. Basically the service tracks what music you listen to through a small application called AudioScrobbler. Since it integrates with iTunes you can even track what you listen to on an ipod/iphone. Over time you get a good trend of which artists, albums, songs, etc. you have been listening to the most. You will get recommendations and an internet radio station based on your listening habits. Lastly, you can even create a separate group where other users join and everyone can see what the members are listening to. Just thought I'd share, in case anyone was interested in trying it out. www.last.fm Thanks, Greg
  5. I'm newly registered to this site, but have been benefiting from the great information here for some time -- with great appreciation for everyone's knowledge and willingness to share info.<br /> <br /> In that spirit I wanted to share my solution using an Automator script (saved as an application) along with Quicksilver to accomplish changes to Audio Midi. I created a couple of scripts that open Audio midi, change between 16/44.1 or 24/96 on the built in output, and then restarts iTunes. You could configure this to whatever setup you need and even switch between different outputs if desired. All with just a few keystrokes (invoke Quicksilver, type a few characters of the script name, hit enter). It has worked well for me, and I hadn't seen this (admittedly somewhat crude) solution discussed elsewhere. I could have missed this in another thread, but thought it was worth mentioning as another possibility.<br /> <br /> Greg
