My G-Drive external USB drive has been filled up with good music and have made the mental decision to move to a NAS. Noise is an issue so Chris' recommendation for a Thecus is out of the question. The speed of the Drobo seems too slow. My IT person recommended the Synology NAS. Does anybody have any experience with the company's products or with the specific DS410 model? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The claims of the DAC's performance with the ESS Sabre DAC seem pretty impressive, and for a recession price of $1200, it seemed too good to be true. Does anybody have any thoughts/experience on the ESS Sabre/Nova product?

Saw that the standards for USB 3.0 are being finalized which looks to have new input plug. Does anybody have any idea if USB 3.0 will have any impact on music fidelity? I'm new to the site and love it! -Ara
