I did not know about the almost bankruptcy. I hope it stabilizes well and comes to these coasts. We need something different. If/when you learn anything more to this effect, please let me know. I'm interested in subscribing. Thank you! Gabe.

So is Qobuz ever going to be available in the US? I am not very happy with the selection of my Tidal subscription in terms of Classical music, (including lesser known repertoire, medieval, baroque, opera and other stuff). They also view it only under the "song" paradigm, which is totally inadequate to these genres. For what I see in Qobuz ads, they target these interests a lot better, but of course, they're not available in the US. Does anyone have an update? Thank you! Gabe.

SACD Ripping using an Oppo or Pioneer? Yes, it's true!

I restarted the player several times. Tried booting up with the USB inserted, after not succeeding turned it off and booted it up without the USB, easier for main screen, inserted and the drawer opened... The drawer opened one way or the other, but after inserting an SACD and closing the tray, nothing happens and as mentioned I cannot run the command via Telnet or GUI (please see my prior posts) thank you! Using US Oppo BDP-105 firmware just upgraded to BDP10X-83-0715. I can't seem to figure out a way to run the executable... I can ping the player and get replies. Here's the telnet error: Network error. Connection refused. Here's the error from the Sonore GUI Faild to decode response libsacdread: Can't open 192.168.0.109:2002 for reading I edited the cmd file in the USB drive to my network's address for the player 192.168.0.109. Maybe I am missing a way to tell the thing where to put the ripped file... Can you guys help please? Thank you! Gabe -
