Newly implemented technology and hardware now takes full advantage of this remarkable feature feature. Either DSD64 or DSD128 files can be flawlessly streamed in conjunction with standard PCM files.

  5. I guess the proper question would be what other options than the Auralic Aries are there to connect my PC by ethernet or WiFi to my Stereo.

Hello All, I have an extra PC running Win 8.1 Intel i7 3770 with 8gb ram 2tb hard drive I would like to use for music, I am trying to figure out what I will need to connect to my home stereo via ethernet cable since it will be located in another room. At this time I have JRiver MC20 loaded on this machine. Some input would be greatyl appreciated. Thank you, John
  7. CatManDo, Thank you for the reply, I appreciate the input, 88.2kHz files are upconverted to 96kHz files and yes I realized the 96kHz limitations on the USB. Thank you again, John
  8. Happy Holidays all, I have the opportunity to pick up this DAC for approx. 1/3 retail, it will be used with a SACD player and computer audio. I know this is not the latest technology for the price it is a very nice DAC, or should I look at the latest technology? I am just venturing into computer audio, but have many CD's. Thank you, John
